TIGER LIVING IT UP PARTY 2011




A web-series based campaign where Tiger beer invited 4 local celebrities, Namewee, Choong Sisters (of Amazing Race fame), Douglas Lim and Manhand to organize a year end party with the theme "Living it Up". 

This is the first of the series where the celebrities meet up. 

Throughout the 1 month campaign, new videos are uploaded every week, letting users to follow the making of the party with the celebrities, culminating to a social media invite to a mega party at the end of the campaign.

The Brief:
To create a year-end party event for Tiger beer featuring celebrities and a very very tight budget.


How did we get here:
The party wasn't actually conceived by the celebrities but
they were the centre of the event.

Namewee and Manhand were very much Mandarin/Cantonese based, while Douglas Lim and The Choong Sisters were more known in English speaking circles.

Therefore we created a web-based video story series (tight budget) which builds itself around the different personalities of our celebrities by bringing out their aspirational attitudes as they come together to "create" the party.

What did I do:
As the only person on the set who could speak in all 3 languages (Mandarin, Cantonese and English), I was responsible for guiding the celebrities during the shoot. I was also involved in the original conception of the series' story flow and to conduct live interviews with the celebrities for the shoot to bring out the "Living it Up" aspirational attitude.
